Programme management of the cost estimation for a major National Highways / DfT study assessing the feasibility and cost of implementing Managed Motorways at 27 locations across England.

Managed Motorways adopt a technology-driven approach that aims to make journeys more reliable by controlling traffic flow more effectively through the use of new technologies such as overhead gantries, lane-specific signals, driver information signs and variable speed limits. They help increase motorway capacity and reduce congestion in particularly busy areas.
